I am Ali Rastroo an artist.

   I was born in 1998 in Yasuj, Iran, and currently work as a freelance artist. My artistic endeavors span painting, concept cartoons, illustration, animation, and music. I began my journey in art at the age of 8, attending private painting classes that nurtured my passion and talent. This path led me to graduate with a degree in painting from Yazd University of Art and Architecture.

During my university years, around the age of 19 or 20, I achieved awards in several international competitions and biennials. This period marked a pivotal moment in my career, as I developed a deep interest in conceptual art and surrealism. My goal has always been to create works that resonate with a wide audience while maintaining depth and artistic power. To achieve this, I fused the narrative strength of concept cartoons with the expressive techniques of painting, drawing inspiration from the great surrealists. Through this approach, I strive to convey my inner thoughts and emotions to viewers in a clear and impactful way (and I hope I’ve succeeded!).

To me, art is life itself—it is the most profound tool for expressing my inner world. I hope you enjoy exploring my works!
