ABOUT ME
I am Ali Rastroo an artist.

MA in Painting at the Art University of Isfahan
BA in Painting at the Art and Architecture University of Yazd

I was born in 1998 in Yasuj, Iran, and now I work as a freelancer artist in Iran! My artistic activities are in the fields of painting, concept cartoons, illustration, animation and music. I have been involved in art since I was 8 years old, and I went to private painting classes. This artistic path continued until I graduated from Yazd University of Art and Architecture with a degree in painting.
During my student years, at the age of about 19 or 20, I received awards in a number of international competitions and biennials. At this time I became very interested in conceptual art and surrealism!
I always wanted my works to be understood by a large mass of people and at the same time to be powerful, so I tried to combine the art of concept cartoons with a painting accent. In this way, I was very inspired by the works of the great surrealists and tried to convey my inner thoughts to the audience more clearly. (I hope I was able to do that!). In general, art means life to me and is the best tool for my inner thoughts! I hope you enjoy seeing my works!
